Take time to relax and enjoy the last days of summer. Mediate outdoors or practice some yoga in a park or your backyard to make the most of this wonderful weather. Explore nature in the woods and watch the changes that are taking place. Just walking in the woods is a good opportunity to practice a walking mediation and to relax. Make some time for reiki too. A relaxing one hour of reiki is just what is needed during the hectic days of September when schedules are utter madness.

Enjoy the last days of summer and delight in a trip to Quebec City. It was such a wonderful vacation and the city is truly lovely. I had a chance to practice many walking meditations and to interact with many warm, friendly people. The unique architecture and the buzz of the city is enchanting. Walking on the boardwalk provided a chance to unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful sites and sounds. Now is the time to recharge as we start September and enjoy the benefits of reiki. Book an...

Take some time to enjoy the summer weather. Relax, hydrate and spend some time connecting with nature. Practice some mindful walking in your garden, a nearby park or along the waterfront. The sounds of water are particularly soothing to many people. Summer is such a short season we need to savour every second of it. Explore new towns and festivals and most of all make time on the weekend just to relax and do absolutely nothing. Sometimes it is hard as the notion of doing nothing is so foreign...

Gardening is the rule of the day during the long weekend. I planted many perennials recently and they all are doing wonderfully well. The Jacob's Ladder is a mature plant purchased recently at the Orno Plant Sale -which was fantastic. All of the plants I purchased are doing amazing in the garden. I am still in the garden tidy up mode but nothing is like relaxing in the garden and enjoying the day. Take time this long weekend and relax. It is hard during the hectic time of setting up your patio...

Whether you book a reiki session...meditate..go on a walking 'mindfulness' exercise...or immerse yourself in some soothing music...make time for yourself....

As I am writing this blog from my office I am looking out at one gorgeous day. The heat has been intense today but all the more reason to seek out a friend with a pool! The bee balm is finally starting to come into bloom and it is making a spectacular show this year. This plant looked a bit dire earlier in the season but has taken off with the warm spell we have been under. A little reiki in the garden also helps too. As we near the end of July, many are enjoying vacations and spending time...

Happy Canada Day! Celebrate this wonderful holiday by spending time with family and friends. Explore one of our amazing parks or sit back and relax on a patio with friends. Take time to relax today and revel in the energy of the day. It is a calm, relaxing holiday energy. Treat yourself to some downtime in this hectic world. I enjoyed the day by picking strawberries which I will be making into jam on Thursday. The whole process of jam is a practice in mindfulness. It is a relaxing task that...

February is a challenging month especially with the extreme cold we have been facing in our region. Spending time practicing yoga and drinking cocoa are a couple of ways to to beat the winter blues. Meditation and reiki also are helpful during this bitter cold.
