Take time to relax and enjoy the last days of summer. Mediate outdoors or practice some yoga in a park or your backyard to make the most of this wonderful weather. Explore nature in the woods and watch the changes that are taking place. Just walking in the woods is a good opportunity to practice a walking mediation and to relax. Make some time for reiki too. A relaxing one hour of reiki is just what is needed during the hectic days of September when schedules are utter madness.

Enjoy the last days of summer and delight in a trip to Quebec City. It was such a wonderful vacation and the city is truly lovely. I had a chance to practice many walking meditations and to interact with many warm, friendly people. The unique architecture and the buzz of the city is enchanting. Walking on the boardwalk provided a chance to unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful sites and sounds. Now is the time to recharge as we start September and enjoy the benefits of reiki. Book an...

Take some time to enjoy the summer weather. Relax, hydrate and spend some time connecting with nature. Practice some mindful walking in your garden, a nearby park or along the waterfront. The sounds of water are particularly soothing to many people. Summer is such a short season we need to savour every second of it. Explore new towns and festivals and most of all make time on the weekend just to relax and do absolutely nothing. Sometimes it is hard as the notion of doing nothing is so foreign...

As we enjoy the summer weather it is a time to evaluate and improve the garden. Notice what is working right now and what needs to be moved. It is not too late- as long as the weather is not scorching hot..to move something planted earlier that is not thriving. I planted my Phlox in the shade -it is in partial sun but there is not enough sun for the plant to thrive. I will move it early in the morning I can't wait till my Zinnias start to spread..Perhaps it is wishful thinking but I would like...

Happy Labour Day! A day to relax and unwind as you let the warmth of summer surround you. It is a beautiful day to be down by the water or sitting in your garden doing nothing. Make some time today to just do nothing at all. Taking some time off is so beneficial, and helps one balance all that life throws at us during the hectic week. Sometimes when we just focus on breathing it grounds us and instantly calms us making us aware of exactly what we are thinking. Wishing everyone a peaceful labour...

Hot August days are here! Time to keep cool with some refreshing drinks by a pool or patio. A little meditation on the hot nights is helpful in calming the mind before sleep. While visiting the town of Woolwich I came across this beautiful windowbox. The sweet potato plants along with the birch pieces look fantastic. Gardens are now in full bloom looking at their best. Take some time to enjoy the beauty which surrounds you...from the gorgeous country views to the flowers in local planters.

Reiki is beneficial for stress relief. It is also great for your plants. As a reiki practitioner or master it is great to utilize reiki energy in your garden to promote healthy plants. Enjoying the benefits of reiki while being in the garden is a good thing as well. Try taking your reiki practice outside. If you have a zero gravity chair then, it is perfect for outdoors. Not only will the client enjoy the outdoors they also will have a fantastic session. As strawberries are in season now, I am...

In the summer it is a great time for surprises in the garden. These lupins are a great example of how a few plants grew into a wonderful clump of flowers. The lupins are wind resistant and are set off by the Willow tree in the background. I am excited about the garden as the zinnias will soon be blooming. Take some time and practice a mindful meditation in the garden. It is an ideal place to relax and simply enjoy the greenery all around you. Just breathe.
